Scuderia Ferrari campaigned the 1967 Championship with the 312/67 which was an improved version of the 1966 V12 powered Ferrari 312 F1 car. The car debuted at the Champions’ Race in Brands-Hatch with Bandini and Scarfiotti behind the wheel.The Scuderia’s best results came courtesy of New Zealander Chris Amon, who managed third position on the podium on three occasions.

After a fatal crash of driver Lorenzo Bandini at the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix and a career-ending crash by substitute driver Mike Parkes at the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix, Ferrari only managed to clinch 5th place in the Constructors’ Championship. 1967 can be considered a bad year for the Italian manufacturer.
