Assetto Corsa – Vauxhall Cavalier GSi Touring Car V1.0 Released
Malagoli has released his Vauxhall Cavalier MK3 GSi Touring Car (1993-1995) for Assetto Corsa.
The Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3, or Opel Vectra in he rest of Europe, was raced in various touring car series around the world. The Cavalier was originally built as a RWD and used in 2 races before being converted to FWD. The most famous 2-litre Cavalier Touring Car was without a doubt the BTCC version driven by British racing driver John Cleland.
From 1990 on he was in the hunt for the nr1 spot in the British Touring Car Championship. In 1990, he finished 5th, in 1991 2nd, in 1992 3rd, in 1993 and 1994 he finished 4th. Then 1995 proved to be the breakthrough year for the Cavalier ironically winning the BTCC title in its last year of competition. In 1996, the Cavalier was replaced by the new Vectra.
