The RicmoTech RealGear RALLYpro Vertical Hydraulic Hand Brake

2015 has definitely been the year of the Rally game.  With titles such as Dirt Rally, WRC 5, and the upcoming Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo, the sim racing handbrake is once more in high demand.

While there are already a few products on the market, such as the DSD and Fanatec units, it is now time for RicmoTech to introduce the new RealGear RALLYpro Vertical Handbrake which is an add-on for their RealGear GTpro pedals.

In order to re-create the proper feel of a hydraulic braking system, the RALLYpro handbrake is constructed entirely of metal and uses the same industrial hydraulic pressure sensor and adjustable slave cylinder found on the RealGear GTpro pedals.

The RALLYpro Vertical Handbrake can be set up to use up to 80lbs of force on the handle at its maximum calibration. The Brake handle is fixed in a vertical orientation, but can be adjusted to various angles. Furthermore, the unit features an adjustable Dead Zone and Selectable Linearity Curve that enables the user to dial in his personal preferences.

The USB powered Handbrake add-on will plug straight into the handbrake port on the GTpro pedals ECU. Ricmotech also stated that there is also a stand-alone version available.
