Kyle Larson on dirt racing, NASCAR, and iRacing

iRacing sat down with professional racing driver and longtime iRacer Kyle Larson and talked about his impressions of iRacing’s new dirt racing feature.

Besides racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, young gun Kyle is also an avid sim-racer. He occasionally likes to do some Dirt racing in both the real and the virtual world, which makes him the perfect person to evaluate the iRacing Dirt content.

Kyle Larson said: The coolest part about it is how real the (dirt) track surface changing is. Absolutely blown away! iRacing did a great job.

Kyle Miyata Larson, Born on July 31, 1992 in Sacramento, CA, is an American professional stock car racing driver. Kyle Larson has raced in a myriad of cars since beginning his career in 1999 at the age of seven. From Outlaw Sprint Karts, winged and non-winged sprint cars, trucks, and now stock cars, Kyle has built an extensive and impressive racing resume, with more than 200 victories. 

He currently competes full-time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the Target and Credit One Bank No. 42 Chevrolet SS for Chip Ganassi Racing, and driving the ENEOS, Credit One Bank and Parker Store Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
