Two more Assetto Corsa Spa Francorchamps previews

The Kunos Simulazioni development team has posted yet another teaser screenshot of the Laser Scanned Spa Francorchamps circuit that will become part of the Assetto Corsa Simulator. This screenshot is taken sitting in the Grandstand looking into the sunlight on the endurance pitlane side of the circuit, looking out over the control tower and Eau Rouge. In the second picture we are standingon top of Eau Rouge looking down at the endurance pitlane and endurance start/Finish straight that starts at La Source.

With every preview shot, the project is starting to look better and better. As a Belgian motorsport enthusiast, I spend a lot of my free time on the Zolder and Spa circuit, and I am amazed by the accuracy of the model. Its just like being there.

Spa Francorchamps is the oldest and biggest Belgian racing circuit. Its situated in the Belgian Ardennes near the village of Stavelo.  The circuit is in use since the early 1920’s (different layout than the modern version).  The 7 kilometer long track is most famous for its sweeping uphill Eau Rouge and Raidillon section. Its most famous races are the Belgian F1 Grand Prix, Total 24 hours of Spa, 1000km of Spa and the Spa Classic.
