MotoGP 21 – Bike Retrieval Feature

Italian game developer Milestone and Dorna Sports, S.L are getting ready to promote the launch of the official 2021 version of the MotoGP game franchise, which will be available on April 22 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

Besides the inclusion of all the riders, teams, and tracks of the official 2021 MotoGP roster, the game also introduces some interesting features that are new to the MotoGP franchise.

One of these new MotoGP 21 features is the Bike Retrieval Sequence. In previous iterations of the game, a crash during a session would lead to an automatic respawn on the track. That will no longer be the case in MotoGP 21. If you fall off, you will have to get up and navigate your rider to the the bike, as fast as you can to continue your race.

While the pathway to the crashed bike is controlled by the player, you won’t actually have to pick up the bike or start the engine. One you reach your motorcycle, the game will trigger an animation that will put you back in the race.
