The French ProSimu.com company made quite a name for themselves with their popular ProSimu motion simulator chassis which are available as a 2, 3, 4, or 6 DOF configurations.
Back in 2018, ProSimu was using Dyadic actuators which already performed brilliantly. However, ProSimu set out to make things even better presenting their own high-end PRS200 actuators which took the ProSimu motion simulator experience to the next level.
Now ProSimu proudly introduced the new PRS 200 Black Series actuators, designed to be more compact, more powerful, and more durable than the previous generation of PRS 200 actuators. The PRS 200 Black Series actuators are made from a high-strength aluminum alloy and are anodized black for corrosion resistance. The logo has been laser engraved for a clean and classy look.
The actuators are 20% smaller than the previous generation of PRS 200 actuators, making them easier to install while reducing the overall size of your rig. They are also very quiet, producing less than 60 dB of noise, making them ideal for use in home simulators.
The PRS 200 Black Series actuators have a maximum force output of 2000 N and a stroke length of either 100, 150, or 200mm. ProSimu has optimized the electro/mechanical parts and the embedded software resulting in up to a 25% better performance. Using a low inertia 750-watt motor the actuators are super fast reaching a movement speed of 280 millimeters per second, accelerating up to 2G, and performing 44 movements per second.
