A 90’s Arcade Machine Converted To A Fanatec Drift Simulator
The guys from the Drift Games YouTube channel started a rather original simulator project in Partnership with Fanatec.
After a creative brainstorming session, the DG team decided to create a state-of-the-art race simulator using a selection of high-end Fanatec gear and build it all inside a scrap classic Battle Gear arcade machine from the ’90s.
The first three episodes show us all the modifications needed to get the Fanatec Podium DD2 wheelbase, Club Sport Pedals V3 Inverted, Clubsport Shifter SQ, and the Clubsport Handbrake fitted in the Arcade cabinet.
After a lot of test fitting, arguing, and problem-solving, the DG team will finally be able to test and demonstrate their unique Drift themed sim rig. We will keep you posted when the final video is released.
