A Look At The Asetek La Prima Product Line

Not so long after venturing into the growing gaming market for sim racing hardware, the Danish Asetek company is making a very good impression. The company already introduced its Invicta Sim Racing Pedals, and officially revealed the Asetek SimSports Direct Drive Wheelbases and the Asetek Forte Formula Steering Wheel.

Asetek also created the entree-level La Prima series which aims to deliver a high-quality sim racing bundle that includes all the hardware needed to get you started in Sim Racing, without having to empty your bank account. At the time of writing, the La Prima Bundle is exclusively available for the PC, but Asetek is planning a console-compatible version in the near future.

In this latest product video, Asetek CEO André Eriksen explains the concept behind the La Prima Product Line and how you can easily upgrade your sim racing setup.

The La Prima bundle includes the La Prima Sim Racing Pedals Brake and Throttle, the La Prima 12Nm Direct Drive Wheelbase, and the La Prima Formula Steering Wheel.

Brake System 

• The M.L.C.P.C.™ (Mechanical Load Cell Powered Cylinder) patent-pending brake cylinder gives you the experience of driving a real race car 
• Die-cast aluminum zero play pedal arm with integrated long durability ball bearings and bronze bushing at the clevis rotation point 
• Sustainable manufacturing with 100% on-site re-use of waste material 
• The load cell will sense up to 180 kg of force on the face of the pedal plate with the hardest elastomer (4000N depressed 12mm / until 2nd stage is engaged.)
