A look at the Eleetus Motion Simulator
With the growing popularity of Racing games and Racing Simulations we have seen an increase in the dedicated hardware that became available to the gamers and sim racers alike.
The ultimate in dedicated sim racing hardware is for many out there a full motion simulator chassis. When we look at the available products in today’s market, the motion simulators can be divided up in two categories. The Full chassis motion and Seat motion systems. One of the lesser known brands of high-end motion simulators is US based Eleetus Motorsport.
The Eleetus Racing Simulator features a built-in High-Performance Gaming PC equipped with a Asus GTX980 GPU, Intel i7 4790 Haswell 4Ghz, 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 500GB SSD drive. Furthermore, the motion simulator features three 27″ ASUS HD monitors at 5760×1080 triple screen resolution, Vizio 2.1 Soundbar and Corbeau FX1 fiberglass seat with a harness. Eleetus is using a Thrustmaster T500rs steering wheel, Thrustmaster TH8A H-Pattern Shifter and Fanatec ClubSport v2 pedals as controller devices.
As far as we know, prices are on request and are not listed publically on the official website.
In the included video, the Eleetus Director of Product Vision Wilson explains the differences between a desktop racing experience and the cutting edge Motion Simulator using rfactor 2 as the basis for the comparison.
