Swiss multinational Peripheral manufacturer Logitech has introduced a new sim racing-related product as part of the Logitech G racing gear series.
The new G Racing Adapter allows Logitech sim racing gear owners to combine Logitech products from different generations to make them work seamlessly as a unit. While older products have utilized the good old 9-pin serial port to connect the peripherals to the PC or consoles, the newer products use the more common USB connection.
Now Logitech has tackled this problem with a new adapter that enables the user to mix and match the PRO Wheel and/or PRO Pedals with the G29, G920, and G923 Wheels and Pedals or with the Driving Force Shifter. Furthermore, the G Racing Adapter features a rotary dial that lets you tuner your Logitech G PRO Racing Pedals equipped with pressure-sensing brakes on the fly.
The adapter features a USB-in connector to interface with a racing wheel, two nine-pin serial connectors for interfacing with older Logitech pedals and the Driving Force Shifter, and a USB-out port to connect to consoles or PC running the G Hub software.
The Logitech G Racing Adapter is compatible with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The adapter is available for €44.99 / £39.99 / USD 39.99 / €44.99.
