A Look At The SIM Seven Cockpit By Bove Fabrication

Bove Fabrication set out to design and build a quality sim racing cockpit loosely based on the contours of the iconic British Lotus Seven sports car. The result was the Sim Seven cockpit.

During design, Bove made sure that every dimension faithfully replicated the body of the real competition car. To ensure a strong and rigid rig, Bove designed a full box-section chassis, with inner and outer aluminum skins that are bonded and riveted to the main chassis.

The Cockpit is fitted with a solid adjustable (height and rake) wheel mount that can handle the abuse of Direct Drive wheels. The sturdy pedal plate is pre-drilled to support all the common brands of pedal sets and features multiple mounting holes allowing ample forward and backward movement of the pedals. The standard SIM Seven cockpit is fitted with a comfortable GRP racing seat that is adjustable for both height and reach.

All the Sim Seven cockpits are handbuild and can be ordered in your favorite race team color scheme. Also the Interior colour and trim levels can be selected as a custom option. For the professional market, the Sim Seven cockpit has plenty of room for company logos and marketing messages, resulting in some interesting branding opportunities.

The SIM Seven cockpit is available in four different configurations. Chassis only, Turnkey Clubman version, Turnkey Clubman Pro version, and an option to lease, or rent.

Practical & Strong

• Your gaming PC is located and easily accessed in the rear of the cockpit behind the seat on a removable plinth.
• All interior wiring is completely hidden.
• The wheel mount is class-leading for its rigidity and is adjustable for height and rake.
• The pedal plate is pre-drilled to take all of the common pedal sets and multiple mounting holes allow for ample fore and aft movement, it is also supremely stiff.

The SIM Seven Rig is basically everything apart from the steering wheel, pedals, shifter and PC hardware. This is aimed at the seasoned SIM racer who already has all of the hardware he needs and simply wants to upgrade his Rig and Immersion experience.
