The Chinese Simagic company is starting to make a pretty good name for itself in both the professional and Sim Racing enthusiast market. The Simagic 10 Nm M10 and 15 Nm Alpha Direct Drive wheelbases have become very popular and have proven to be very reliable products that sport good value for money.
Wheelbases do need wheel rims, and while Simagic already had that covered with the excellent GTC, GT1, GT4 Formula, and FX Formula wheel rims, they now introduced their new flagship wheel in the form of the Simagic FX Pro Formula Steering Wheel.
The Formula Xtreme (FX) Pro steering wheel is a 290mm diameter high-end sim racing wheel rim constructed around a full carbon fiber wheel chassis. The lightweight (1.7kg) wheel is fitted with ergonomically designed Silicone grips treated with an anti-slip sweatproof coating.
The most noticeable parts of the wheel are without a doubt the integrated 4.3″ LED telemetry screen, and the configurable RGB LEDs (Patented soft glow Rev light). Furthermore, the FX Pro features all the control systems you will ever need including 12 configurable backlit buttons, 4 encoder thumb wheel knobs, 5 rotary encoders, and a 7-way joystick switch.
The rear of the wheel houses no less than 6 aluminum paddle modules including 2 magnetic shifters, 2 configurable paddles, and a Dual clutch system. The wheel is connected to the wheelbase via a 50mm Simagic quick release and is configured via the excellent SimPro Manager software.

Note: At the time of writing, the FX pro steering wheel is not yet compatible with the M10 DD wheelbase but the unit will be supported in the near future.
