Acrylic Sim Racing Cockpit by HM Engineering
While there are a vast number of sim racing cockpit brands on the market, in some countries it can be eighter expensive or close to impossible to purchase them domestically. That’s what Indonesian engineer Harris Muhammad must have thought three years ago when he set out to design a full-featured inexpensive sim racing rig.
The result of all his hard work is the HM Engineering GT-One Racing Simulation Cockpit. The first design was made for personal use out of one sheet of plywood. Soon after, Harris built two new prototype models named the GT-ONE and the F1. As the name suggests, the GT-ONE resulted in a GT racing car seat position, while the F1 was inspired by a single-seater cockpit. Interestingly, all parts of this rig are made of CNC machined plastic.
The HM Engineering cockpits will be shipped as a flat pack and can be assembled without the use of any bolts, nuts or screws. The cockpits will become available in a range of colors, and a rather original translucent acrylic version.
Currently, the HM Engineering GT-One Racing Sim Cockpit is on pre-order ( (by phone or WhatsApp) for US$ 394.00 – € 344,99 € – £ 306,86 + shipping.
