Barry Rowland of the Sim Racing Garage continues his review of the ASR6 aluminum extrusion profile cockpit by Advanced Sim Racing.
In part one, Barry took a detailed look at all the included parts and showed us the rig assembly. In this final part of the review, Barry is mounting all his sim racing peripherals, and runs a shake-down test session.
The Canada based Advanced Sim Racing company, set out to supply a well designed 6″ aluminum extrusion profile sim racing chassis that was solid enough to accommodate any type of direct drive wheelbase on the market.
The ASR6 is a very rigid, highly adjustable aluminum profile chassis with an original touch, as ASR decided the have the chassis powder coated in a uncommon pristine white. That said, a dark grey version is also available.
Both the steel wheel mount, and pedal tray can be adjusted in height, angle, and position. You have a choice out of three wheel deck versions. The Standard wheel deck, a Fanatec DD side mount, or a Simucube front mount.
Check out the Assembly guide here.
The ASR6 is available in the US and Canada for $919.99 USD + shipping.
