Announcing the Fanatec Xbox One Wheel Rim

Fanatec announced the Universal Hub for Xbox One bringing modularity and realism to the next-gen Console.

You can purchase the Fanatec Xbox One Universal Hub with or without a Fanatec wheel rim. Those who want to fit an existing wheel, or want to use a real world rim will be glad to hear that the hub is compatible with wheels from various brands such as SPARCO, MOMO or OMP.

The button layout of the Universal Hub for Xbox One can be configured to your preference. Both the position and angle of every button can be adjusted. You will be able to choose from two different sizes of paddle shifters.  Just like the PC version, the comes with a detachable Tuning LED display that will show you telemetry info or wheel settings on the fly.

The Fanatec Universal Hub for Xbox One can be used with the ClubSport Wheel Base V1 and V2. Fanatec stated that it will even be compatible with future wheel-bases from Fanatec.

When you connect the Universal Hub for Xbox One, the base unit will be switched into Xbox One mode using force feedback protocol with the new and advanced equation system. You can switch between the PC and Xbox One mode using a hot-key. here are several more

Fanatec announced that they will announce several more wheel-bases at various price points. Later this year, Fanatec are planning to release a second steering wheel for Xbox One, claiming that it will be targeted to a broader audience at a much lower price point.

The Universal Hub for Xbox One will be available on May 28th in Europe, USA, Australia and Japan.
