Another Year has past… Happy New Year
Another year has past and a new one is ahead of us. 2014 has been an amazing year for Sim Racers, Modding Teams and Race Gamers alike. We have been blessed with Sim Racing platforms such as Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Project CARS, rFactor 2, RaceRoom Racing Experience, Live for Speed, GSC Extreme and more… Sim Racing has never been more exciting and rewarding.
Also, the Sim Racing hardware scene provided us with loads of new and innovating products. Companies such as SimXperience, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, GT-Omega, SR-Hardware, ARC_Team, Derek Speare Designs, EC-SimHardware and many more have provided us with Steering wheels, Pedals, Button boxes, Shifters and full blown motion simulators to even further immerse us in our passion. When looking at the latest developments in the Sim Racing Hardware scene, it becomes clear that our hobby is growing and is slowly but surely becoming a virtual sport.
The modding scene is something close to my heart. While in 2013 the modding teams all seemed to hibernate or even vanish, it was such a pleasure to see them all revive during 2014. During the last year, the modding community has provided us with a massive amount of quality and passion driven modding projects. Once more the modding future looks bright.
I would also like to pay my respects to fellow websites and forums such as VirtualR, RaceDepartment, DrivingItalia, Inside SimRacing and many more for keeping our community informed and adding an extra dimension to the world of Sim Racing.
And most importantly, the Sim Racers, Race Gamers, Racing Leagues and all Virtual Racing enthusiasts for making it al worthwhile.
Therefore, I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy, healthy and safe New Year and I would like to thank all the Bsimracing visitors and sponsors for another amazing year. I hope to welcome you all again.
Let’s make it a fantastic 2015. This is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one.
Wim,
