Aristotelis Vasilakos – Assetto Corsa – Basic Driving Techniques

Assetto Corsa fans will undoubtedly know Aristotelis Vasilakos as the well-respected physics creator at Kunos Simulazioni. In order to create realistic vehicle dynamics for the AC racing simulator, Aristotelis has tested many real world versions of the cars featured in Assetto Corsa. He now shares his skill and experience with us in his latest “Go Faster” tutorial video.

During this 40-minute Assetto Corsa tutorial video, Aristotelis explains some of the basic driving techniques that will make the novice sim racer feel more comfortable and therefore faster on track. While showing us a replay of a practice session in the BMW M235i Racing car at the Silverstone International circuit, Aris analyses the practice laps step by step. He shows us where he is losing time and later on explains how you can resolve these issues and become a faster driver.

While Aris recorded this video to help out those new to sim racing, we are convinced that both rookies and weathered sim racing veterans will benefit from these driving tips and tricks in both a virtual and real world environment.
