Back in October, Danish Sim Racing peripheral manufacturer Asetek Sim Sports announced that it had reached an agreement with a major console manufacturer, to bring existing and future Asetek products to the popular console market. However, they did not disclose the console’s actual brand.
Now Asetek officially revealed that the brand-new partnership has been made with “Designed for Xbox”. The new collaboration will see Asetek SimSports’ new and select existing products made console compatible, ensuring seamless connectivity and delivering an authentic racing experience to users of the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
If all goes as planned, the first Xbox-compatible products should hit the market in the second half of 2025.
André Eriksen (Chief Executive Officer, Asetek) said: Today is an extremely proud day and a landmark one for Asetek SimSports as we announce a new partnership with Designed for Xbox. When I launched Asetek SimSports a little more than two years ago, it was my mission to provide the most authentic racing experience possible to as many people as possible. Making our products console compatible through the Designed for Xbox collaboration is a huge step towards realizing that ambition. As a racer myself, all of my passion and experience goes into every one of our products, and I am delighted that Xbox users around the world will now be able to enjoy their outstanding performance.
