Asetek - Invicta DD Wheelbase Reveal & Andre Eriksen Interview

Friend of the house, AussieStig visited the 2022 Gamescom conference which runs from August 23 through August 28 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

One of the exhibitors is the Danish Asetek company which not long ago ventured into the growing gaming market for sim racing hardware and software, introducing its Invicta Sim Racing Pedals. Asetek had already confirmed that they were planning to also offer wheelbases, steering wheels, shifters, and other end-user customization options.

Now during the ongoing Gamescom conference, Asetek officially revealed a prototype of its upcoming Invicta Direct Drive wheelbase. AussieStig interviewed Asetek CEO, Andre Eriksen to bring us up to date with all the insights and details regarding the new Direct Drive wheelbase lineup, its accessories, and some new exciting hardware that is currently in the works.

Asetek is planning a release of the 27nm Invicta and 17nm Forte wheelbase. If all goes as planned, the units should be available by the end of the year.
