Assetto Corsa Bonus Pack 3 – Introducing the Lamborghini Huràcan Performante

Next Wednesday, Assetto Corsa PC version owners will receive a very nice holiday gift from their favorite Italian development studio. To thank their very loyal Assetto Corsa community, Kunos Simulazioni will release the AC Bonus Pack 3 DLC as free content.

After already presenting the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and the Pagani Huayra BC, they now officially introduced the Lamborghini Huràcan Performante as part of the upcoming free Bonus Pack 3 for Assetto Corsa.

Kunos Simulazioni’s Executive Manager and Co-Founder, Marco Massarutto stated that the Huracan Performante will replace the Veneno in the list of Lamborghini cars included in Assetto Corsa.

The beautiful Lamborghini Huràcan Performante was designed to become the fastest member of the Huràcan family of models. Lamborghini completely updated the concept of super sports cars, improving the engine, increasing the performance of the steering and suspension, using ultra-lightweight materials, and introducing an innovative active aerodynamic system in order to improve the performance level and driving experience.

The Huràcan Performante is powered by a totally renovated and redesigned Lamborghini 5.204 cm3 MPI/DSI V10 engine that puts out 640 HP (470 kW) at 8.000 rpm. All that power is transferred by a 7-speed Dual-clutch gearbox an Electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system with rear mechanical self-locking differential.

The updated powertrain accelerates the Huràcan Performante from 0-100 KM/H (0-62 MPH) in 2.9 seconds and gives it a top speed of 325 km/h (201 mph).

The Bonus Pack 3 for will be free for all Assetto Corsa players and is scheduled to be released on December 20th on the Steam platform. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be updated soon after, depending on a swift approval of Microsoft and Sony.

The pack will include seven highly detailed new Italian car models from the past and the present by Alfa Romeo, Automobili Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani Automobili. In previous interviews, Kunos Simulazioni’s Executive Manager and Co-Founder, Marco Massarutto hinted that the highly anticipated laser-scanned Laguna Seca Raceway track would also be part of the free update. However, the track is not yet confirmed.
