With a release scheduled for this month, Kunos Simulazioni, and 505 Games continue the teaser video series of the upcoming GT2 Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione. In today’s video, we can have a look at the KTM X-BOW GT2.
First teased in July of this year, the GT2 Pack DLC is supposed to include the SRO Fanatec GT2 European Series Championship, being the Audi R8 LMS GT2, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo GT2, KTM X-BOW GT2, Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, Mercedes AMG GT2, and the Maserati MC20 GT2. Then there is also the Brabham BT63 GT2 that raced in the 2022 invitational class.
Kunos Simulazioni already confirmed that alongside the aforementioned SRO Fanatec GT2 European Series, also the Porsche 935 Tribute car and the 911 GT2 RS CS EVO Kit will be part of the DLC. The GT2 Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione including the Maserati MC20 GT2 will be available in January 2024.
KTM X-BOW GT2:
Founded in 1934, KTM is an Austrian motorcycle, bicycle, and motorsports brand that traces its foundation back to 1934 as Kronreif & Trunkenpolz Mattighofen. KTM is best known for its off-road motorcycles, particularly in the enduro, motocross, and supermoto disciplines. However, the company has also expanded into street motorcycle production in recent years, and it even developed a track-only sports car called the X-BOW.
The KTM X-BOW GT2 is a track-only race car that was first introduced in 2020. It is powered by a 2480 cm³ Audi five-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces up to 600 horsepower. With all this power the X-BOW can reach a top speed of 320 kilometers per hour ( 200 miles per hour).
The X-BOW GT2 has a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a rear-wheel-drive powertrain including a sequential 6-speed Holinger motor sports transmission. It is equipped with a full racing suspension and braking system. The X-BOW GT2 is a highly competitive car in the GT2 class. It has won races in the FIA GT2 European Series and the Blancpain GT World Challenge America.
