Assetto Corsa Competizione – PS4 PRO Gameplay Preview

Next Tuesday, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games will be releasing the popular Assetto Corsa Competizione racing simulation title on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Ever since the introduction of the console version of ACC, the community has been divided into believers and non-believers regarding the playable performance and framerate of a potential console version. To get all features on par with the PC version of the game Kunos and 505 Games opted to let the console game run at 30fps, and limit the grid to 20 cars. ( The Xbox One version will run at 30fps at a lower 1600×900 (900p) resolution.

These limitations might seem to be somewhat of a game-breaker, but Kunos Simulazioni is convinced that the console crowd will still be able to have some very entertaining races. They now released an official video, showcasing the game running in 1080p on a PlayStation 4 Pro. Check out this 5-lap evening Quick Race driving the Porsche 911 GT3 R on the Hungaroring circuit.

The ACC console release will be available both digitally and via physical retail on June 23rd, 2020. Players who pre-order the console edition of ACC will also gain access to the Intercontinental GT Pack DLC on release day, which expands the Assetto Corsa Competizione experience to include the official Intercontinental GT Challenge.

The PC version of the game is available via Steam for €39,99. The Intercontinental GT Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione is available via Steam for €14,99 ( $14.99 – £12.49).
