Assetto Corsa upcoming build info
Kunos Simulazioni posted a video showing us some footage of Assetto Corsa as viewed on a new Ultra wide ACER B296HCL running at a 2560×1080 resolution. In this video you see footage of a Lotus 49 race at the historic version of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza with 15 cars on track. Basically this is recorded in the new build that will be released to the public on March 28th. So far the Kunos Simulazioni team revealed that the build will contain improved AI and collisions routines . Further more the lighting will feature better sharpening and contrast levels. The environments will also contain new sky/cloud graphics. As usual we can also expect some general optimizations on various parts of the simulation.
As usual just before the release of a new build, the Kunos Simulazioni teasing team has already posted some interesting screenshots. The 1975 Ferrari 312T is the current Facebook timeline cover on the Assetto Corsa page, while the Lotus 98T was posted on March 21 (Ayrton Senna’s birthday). This does not officially mean we can expect the cars to be released this week as new content, but in the past it has been proven that teasing and releasing are related in the world of Kunos. So fingers crossed…
