After four years of hard work, Developer Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games are getting ready to release the (lower priced) early Acces version of Assetto Corsa EVO. Up until now, Developer Kunos Simulazioni has been sparsely sharing detailed info about the third title of the Assetto Corsa franchise.
In the latest official video, the CEO of Kunos Simulazioni, Marco Massarutto, shares some more general info about the upcoming racing simulation confirming five circuits from across four continents including Brands Hatch, Laguna Seca, Suzuka, Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, and Mount Panorama. The highly anticipated Nordschleife track will be added later in the year.
Furthermore, the Early Access Assetto Corsa EVO will include 20 cars ranging from modest street cars to fearsome racing machinery. But that is only the start, as the release version of the game will include over 100 cars. Version 1.0 will also introduce the open-world map and 15 officially licensed racing circuits.
Marco confirmed new features such as real-time updated track conditions featuring a Dynamic weather system, rubber built-up, a new tire model, an improved suspension and bump stop simulation, a Dynamic solver tool that models how different parts of a car interact, an advanced rendering algorithm featuring Dynamic Global illumination and refined Reflections, an integrated Driving Academy, animated crowds, and Marshalls, a single-player mode, a new Time Attack game mode, and much more.
Keep in mind that all the footage in the included video represents an Alpha version of the game. The mentioned content is by no means a full list.
The PC version of Assetto Corsa EVO is scheduled for release as an Early Access title on the 16th of January 2025 via Steam. The full release is scheduled for the fall of 2025.
Currently, there is no info available regarding a possible console release. Yet it is very likely that the title will also be released on the current-gen consoles.
