Somewhere during 2024, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games will release a follow-up to the original Assetto Corsa title. Besides the title name being “Assetto Corsa Evo” little is known about the upcoming racing game, and we have not seen any screenshots or videos of the work in progress.
Now Italian gaming magazine multiplayer.it has posted an Assetto Corsa Evo screenshot showcasing the interior of a Hyundai i20N. The screen was shown during a special live broadcast on Twitch with Kunos Founder Marco Massarutto. However, Kunos Simulazioni did not officially state where the picture originated.
If the screen is a genuine Assetto Corsa Evo shot, it would mean that the new title features road cars, and therefore bring the game more in line with the original Assetto Corsa mixed content, continuing the awesomeness of the original AC. This will be great news for many sim racers out there, who preferred the original game concept over the branded championship content of Assetto Corsa Competizione.
