A car does not have to be big, expensive or majestic to be popular within the car culture and motorsport scene. One of the cars that proves this is the little FIAT 500 Abarth. Based on the iconic and very modest 1957 Fiat 500, the Italian manufacturer celebrated the 500’s 50th birthday with a redesigned city version of the car. FIAT always associated its sport versions with the Abarth Label.  Carlo Abarth became an inhouse name at FIAT for restyling and tuning various FIAT models to fit a more sportive clientele, and was also active in various motorsports related projects.

The same happened with the FIAT 500, when he turned it in to a 1.4L 4-cyl. Turbocharged mini racer with a 5-speed manual gearbox.  They also build a stage 2 version of this package called the Esseesse (SS), that got an additional  performance pack fitted. The standard Fiat 500 Abarth develops 133bhp at 5500rpm , but with the Essesse kit you will get a fulsome 157bhp out of the little car.

The car model is part of the Assetto Corsa Simulator, and immediately proved to be a very popular choice of the fans.
