Assetto Corsa – Highland track Development Screenshots

Kunos Simulazioni’s Licensing manager Marco Massarutto posted some interesting development screenshots of the upcoming Highland track for Assetto Corsa.

The screenshots show us some work in progress screens of different locations on the track at various stages of development. This gives us a rough idea of the amount of work needed to finish a track project of this magnitude. Marco informs us that the entire track is modeled by just one person, which makes it even more impressive.

In partnership with Nvidia and Sparco, Kunos Simulazioni will release the new fictional Scottish Highland track as free Assetto Corsa bonus content. The track will feature 4 different configurations suitable for a variety of racing classes.

Two weeks ago, Kunos Simulazioni shared a video showing us some in-game action on the Highlands track. The combination of high-speed straights, elevations, and tight city corners will surely provide us with a challenge and heaps of fun.

The Highland track should become available in Q1 of 2017. Besides a “very very #Soon” tag, no further details have been shared at this time.
