Assetto Corsa – IER USCC Mod Car Pack #1 v0.31 Released
The International Endurance Racing Modding Group released a major update for their Assetto Corsa USCC Mod Car Pack #1.
The Car Pack is the first part of the USCC modding project that will replicate the 2014 IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship (TUSC) season.
This latest update contains a set of fixes and improvements for the Corvette Daytona Prototype and the Oreca FLM09. The update also introduces a new lower livery resolution skin pack that will improve the performance of the mod. The IER modding team advises you to delete all previous versions of the mod before installing this new version.
V0.31 Changelog:
Corvette Daytona Prototype:
- 3D completed for both the Dallara and Coyote chassis
- Completely revamped physics based on data from engineers of the real car
- Driver animations for both versions
- Full LOD implementation for better frame rates
- Feature list updated to current version of AC-New and
- Improved sounds
- New shaders
- Fixed Dallara Corvette DP driver eye positioning
- Fixed Coyote Corvette DP steering wheel
Oreca FLM09:
- Small 3D changes – with more to come once a new modeler is found
- More accurate physics based off of better data – vastly different to the last release
- Updated and improved sounds
- Feature list updated to current version of AC
- Livery compatibility – although not advised as neither the 3D model nor it’s skinning layout is finalized
- Verification of handling accuracy through tests done by a driver of the real car
- Fixed small error regarding SUSP nodes on the Oreca
- Changed carbon shader on the Oreca to reflect less light – only until new materials are set up
