Assetto Corsa – Mazda 787B and Miata soon available as free bonus content
Kunos Simulazioni’s Licensing manager Marco Massarutto has confirmed that the Mazda 787B Group C car and the classic Mazda Miata will very soon become available as free bonus content for the Assetto Corsa Racing Simulator. Some of you might be familiar with these cars as previous iterations of these models were already released as modding projects for AC.
The Mazda 787B was a Group C sports-prototype engineered to compete in the World Sportscar Championship, All Japan Sports Prototype Championship and the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990 and 1991. The 787B weighed 831 kg. It had a 2622 ccm 4-rotor 26B Wankel engine, mid-mounted with RWD and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Wankel delivered a whopping 700 HP@ 9000 RPM.
The Mazda MX-5 or Miata as it is known in North America debuted in 1989 and is ever since one of the most popular Roadsters available.
2017 Porsche 911 RSR
Late 2016, Kunos Simulazioni explained that they needed more time to get the Porsche RSR model ready. They rescheduled the release to January and announced that the Porsche 911 RSR would be a FREE upgrade of the Porsche Pack Vol. 3 DLC. Unfortunately, the car did not make its rescheduled release target for of a multitude of reasons. Now Marco Massarutto has hinted that the wait for the 2017 Porsche RSR is almost over. #Soon
