Assetto Corsa Nissan licence announced

Recently Kunos Simulazioni asked fans to participate in a poll to try and find wich car licenses the community would appreciate the most. Based on the outcome of that poll, today Kunos Simulazioni  announced that Nissan will become part of the Assetto Corsa Simulator. This new Licensing Agreement will bring the Nissan GT-R Nismo 2014 and Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 to the AC sim platform.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo road car will be included in one of the future upgrades of the game. The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 however, will be released with the much talked about mega DLC  accompanying the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit scheduled for a post-release in September 2014.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo is a Twin Turbo V6 powered supercar producing 545 horsepower. The car is regarded to give supercar fans the biggest bang for the buck. It has also refered to as the Playstation on wheels because of its arsenal of electronics included in the car mechanics and dashboard.

  

The NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT3 is Nismo’s race car developed according to FIA GT3 regulations.  The GT3 racer is powered by a VR38DETT V6 Twin Turbocharged engine that can put out 405 kw/ 550 ps. It can deliver a maximum torque of 637N・m ( 65.0 kgf・m ). The power is transmitted to the rear wheels using a six speed sequential manual gearbox that is operated by a semi-automatic paddle shift fitted on an adjustable steering wheel. The 2014 models is an upgrade build on its predecessor and boosts better reliability reducing the running cost.
