Assetto Corsa – Porsche 991 GTA update (IER)

The International Endurance Racing Modding Group posted a new preview screenshot of their Porsche 991 GTA, that will become part of the 2014 IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship (TUSC) mod for Assetto Corsa. Patrik Marek whom you know from the mod is patching up all the holes in the model such as the bottom floor and wheel arches.

This car will most probably become a popular piece of content in Assetto Corsa. Most modding teams have deviated from building Porsche models, because of the ongoing licensing situations. Let’s hope this one survives.

The Porsche 911 GT America is built exclusively for the GT Daytona class of the IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship. The car is based upon the 991 GT3 Cup currently being raced in the Supercup. However, the car has been modified to cope with the specific needs of endurance racing.
