The release candidate of Assetto corsa 1.0 did bring us new content, but besides that it also brought us a set of new features. One of those features is the Oculus rift DK2 support. Lets first of all say that the Oculus support is still very much a work in progress, and its features are only available at a basic level. Nevertheless, it shows us that the Kunos Simulazioni title will also support the future VR technology hardware.

GamerMuscle picked up his Oculus Rift DK2 VR headset and takes us for a ride in the Assetto Corsa Ferrari 458 GT2, showing us the newly added Spa Francorchamps track in all its VR glory. GamerMuscle points out that in this early implementation, the head tracking is not 1-1 and that it is not possible to change settings or view in game menus when using the Oculus Rift. Non the less GamerMuscle is impressed with the performance of Assetto Corsa, using his mid end PC system.
