Assetto Corsa vs rFactor 2 – Graphics Comparison @ Monza 1966.

AdrianF1esp created yet another comparison video between Kunos Simulazioni´s Assetto Corsa and rFactor2 by ISI.
Both titles are still in development and will undoubtedly change during the coming months. In this video you can see a one by one between the two platforms, on the historic Monza track that is featured in both titles. 

What becomes clear is that comparison videos sometimes miss their purpose. While in the video the two rivals, seem pretty much the same as far as detail and look are concerned, in fact when you see them side by side sitting in front of your screens, the look is rather different. The way thing like movement, color, antialiasing and filters behave are pretty different between the two, and as many will have experienced, Assetto Corsa has a much more solid look to it. ( I will probably get flamed by the Rf2 community for saying so.)  

Assetto Corsa is being designed to provide a very realistic driving experience, with single player and multiplayer options, officially licensed cars and tracks developed using Laser scan technology, and the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing environments. Also, Assetto Corsa will allow for considerable customisation and modification, in order to satisfy the expectations of professional sim racers, gamers who prefer to approach the driving experience more progressively, and hobbyists who just like to collect lots of cars and tracks.
