Augury Simulations. based in Almería, Spain are designers and manufacturers of high-end Sim Racing solutions. Augury is most famous for its excellent turnkey OSW-based Direct Drive wheelbase systems but also retails a number of other sim racing hardware products such as high-quality wheel rims, DD Encoders, quick release adapters, and now after 2 years of development the Augury AP-121 Sim Racing Pedals.
The pedals are made out of hard-anodized aluminum and stainless steel parts crafted using ultra-precise CNC machinery. All parts are specially designed for the AP-121, to avoid torsions, frictions, clearances noises, and undesired wear and tear.
The Augury Pedals 121 have the versatility of being angle adjustable in four different positions and of also being placed longitudinally with a variation of up to 20mm.
The AP-121 Throttle pedal travel and force are fully adjustable via easy-to-reach wheel knobs. The maximum travel can be adjusted between 50 – 90 mm, while the user can vary the force between 2 – 3 Kg.
For the Brake pedal, Augury incorporated a mechanism that simulates the brake anti-blocking system (ABS), in this manner, you will be able to perceive when the tires are reaching their grip limit.
Furthermore, the driver can change the brake modes (GP and Sport) thanks to the mechatronics and software specifically developed for this purpose. All the settings are stored in the custom build PCB (Printed Circuit Board) of the AP-121. In GP mode, the brake pedal has a maximal travel of 35mm and a maximum resistance force of 130Kg. In Sport mode, the travel is set to 55mm, while the resistance force can be as high as 60 Kg.
All the electronic adjustments of the brake pedal are set through the Augury Software. At any time you will be able to switch between brake modes, activate or deactivate the ABS, as well as manage other types of necessary parameters in a quick and simple way without having to get off your seat.
The Clutch pedal features a rocker mechanism with variable and adaptive geometry, with regressive force, to mimic the feel of a real clutch pedal. Via an adjustable knob, you can both modify the force and travel of the clutch. The pedal travel can be adjusted between 85 – 125 mm, while the Clutch force can be dialed in between 18 – 20 Kg.
The Augury AP-121 Pedals are up for pre-order at €1.099,00 excl. VAT + Shipping. Augury also retails an AP-21 set (2-pedal Throttle / Brake) for 849,00 excl. VAT + Shipping, and an optional AP-1 Clutch pedal for €250,00 excl. VAT + Shipping.
