Reiza Studios has deployed a new major update for Automobilista 2.
Besides a sizeable list of improvements and fixes, this AMS2 update also introduces some very exciting content in the form of the new Formula Retro Generation 2 historical class, featuring the iconic Lotus 79, and the generic F-Retro Gen2 Model1.
Furthermore, the update adds some more historical layouts to the Jacarepaguá – Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet circuit. (2005, Oval, Sul, Stock Car Roval)
Reiza Studios explained that they did not succeed in integrating all the planned new features and core developments in this latest update. However, AMS2 V1.1.3.5 does introduce some very interesting changes. The most significant physics development in this update is the substantial reduction of driveline friction levels, resulting in improved functionality in LSD cars, better driveability, and slightly higher top speeds. The default preload and ramp angles have been adjusted for most cars, so setup resets on cars with LSD is recommended.
Championship Mode has also received an important update in preparation for the Custom Championship feature, as now players are able to have up to four championship seasons in progress. A batch of new championship options will be added in a complementary update before the weekend. The custom championship itself is still under development for additional features and has been pushed to May.
Restart your Steam client to receive the update. Check out the changelog below for all the details.
Automobilista 2 is currently available via Steam for €18.49. (50% price reduction) The Automobilista 2 + 2020-2021 Season Pass Bundle is available for €97,63. (23% price reduction)
