Reiza Studios is preparing to release the V1.6 update for Automobiilista 2 bringing a nice list of new and improved features to the racing simulator.
They have now published three new videos previewing some of the ongoing developments scheduled to be included in the upcoming V1.6 update.
The top video shows us a short demonstration of the weather system updates, showcasing the visual and physical effects of rain on both the car and the track, and how these rain conditions will impact the driving.
The second video demonstrates the AI improvements in a short 6-lap race against a field of AI F-Ultimates.
The third video lets us have a look at the eye candy of the humidity modeling in AMS2 V1.6 as part of its weather system overhaul. When running in a cold temperature, high humidity weather will generate condensation water particles in the air leading to visual contrail vertices forming from the edge of the big rear wings with a high angle of attack such as the wing on the featured McLaren MP4/8.
