Gadget junkie Jerry “Barnacules Nerdgasm” owns a Obutto R3volution Racing Cockpit. When he got the idea to extend the rig with some SimXperience SimVibe modified Buttkickers, he started brain storming on how to fit the actual transducers to the rig without physically modifying it. After a while he came up with the idea to design and 3D print the brackets needed.
Jerry has a few 3D printers handy. (Robo3D, Ultimaker v1 and Ultimaker v2 ) This way Barnacules could adjust, measure and fine tune the design of the brackets before sending them of to be custom build in metal. For those Sim Racers who have access to a 3D printer, it might be a very good idea to design and pre-build their own cockpit accessories. The future looks bright.
