It’s that time of the year again… Black Friday. For bargain hunters, it is the biggest shopping festival of the year. For Sim Racing enthusiasts it should be the same…
Regular Bsim visitors will know I used to post an article, listing the best Black Friday offers. However, last year it became clear that Black Friday was starting to lose its purpose. Besides a handful of great bargains, most deals I found were less than interesting. Let’s blame it on the economic state of the world, and the decline of the Pandemic Sim Racing hype.
While last year, various brands and retailers decided not to take part in the 2022 Black Friday sales, this year’s participation is slightly better. Then again, more participants do not automatically mean better deals. While many of the established brands and well-known names in the industry still provide you with very interesting discounts, free extras, or bundles, most of the Black Friday promos have become more modest.
Be Aware!
As in previous years, I have come across a number of anomalies:
Black Friday prices higher than the regular price.
Black Friday announcements with no actual promo of any sort.
Announced deals with little or no stock.
Black Friday products that have sold out before BF starts.
Technically no chance to order at the promo price.
Black Friday Promo prices without listing the regular prices.
In these cases, it is anyone’s guess to find out if these bargains are worthwhile. I did my best not to list these dubious offerings in the list below.
