Rfactor

We are used to see comparison videos in the sim racing scene, but not often do they come from the guru of physics. Niels Heusinkveld posted an old rFactor video he overlayed with some real footage.

The Image Space Incorporated track team has been hard at work, updating the Silverstone track to version 1.14. The update consists out of numerous fixes and optimisations that should improve performance significantly.

Two weeks ago, Apex Modding released the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 for their FIA GT3 mod. Today the team is showing new preview shots of the next car model in line.

MAK-Corp is working on the 1991 Group C cars for rFactor, rFactor 2, RACE07. They stated that they are prioritizing rFactor and rFactor 2 and have different members working on putting the models in-game to be able to develop both versions simultaneously. Now the team released previews of the Sauber Mercedes C11 and the Porsche 962 C that will appear in the 1991 Group C mod.

MAK-Corp are working on the F1 Classics mod on rFactor 2. To keep us in the mood, they released a render of the 2004 Williams BMW FW26 game model.

Enduracers have been working hard on their Endurance Series mod. Today they confirmed that two new cars are in development, and will be added to the Endurance Series mod for rFactor.

The Apex Modding team have released their Mercedes SLS GT3 as part of the FIA GT3 mod for rFactor 2.

As many of you might know, we carefully followed up the progress of the rFactor 2 Beta and used our own Megane Trophy as a guineapig to get accustomed to the rF2 workflow. Initially, we stated not to release anything before rF2 would go Gold, but apparently this could take longer then expected, so here we go...

For those who follow the series, you will remember that Niels Heusinkveld went for a walk, and a Lancia Delta S4 Group B fell out of the sky. :-) So he decided to go mountain climbing with 500 super & turbocharged.
