Via its social media channels, Iracing has teased the first laser-scan 3D scene of the Circuit of Jerez, confirming that the famous Spanish racing venue will become part of the iRacing track portfolio in the near future.
The Circuito de Jerez, also known as Circuit of Jerez, is a motorsport race track located in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It is used for various motorsport events, including Formula One testing, MotoGP, and World Superbike races. The track is 4.428 km (2.751 miles) long and has a capacity of 120,000 spectators.
iRacing did not yet share further details or a release schedule. Taking into account that the screen is a raw laser-scanned colored 3D point cloud, it is safe to say that an actual in-game version of the track will not be ready for quite some time.
