Codemasters DiRT Rally – First look by EmptyBox
EmptyBox takes a look at DiRT Rally by Codemasters. A week ago Codemasters surprised us all with an early access Steam platform release of what should become the first Rally game in the Codemasters Dirt Series that leans towards the simulator genre.
In this video report, EmptyBox shares his personal opinion regarding the new title and evaluates the potential of the development version. While this is still a very early version of the game, EmptyBox calls it ” the best rally game in a decade”.
Ever since the Richard Burns Rally title was released back in July 2004, the Rally Game community has been waiting for a sim orientated title. 2015 might end that wait, with projects such as Codemasters Dirt Rally, Milestone’s Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, and Kylotonn Games WRC 5 in the making.
You can purchase the Early Access version on the dedicated DiRT Rally Steam page. Untill May 4th, 2015, the game will be on sale for 26,99€.
Alex Gillon takes a look at the Early Access version of DIRT Rally and shares his first impressions of the game. Alex is running the game with ultra settings and has all the assists set to off with the AI on the highest difficulty. He is using a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel as the controller.
