Recently, the Chinese Conspit Racing company introduced its new Conspit Max 01 Sim Racing wheel for the high-end premium experience market.
The lightweight 1,2 kg, 300mm diameter wheel rim is very suitable for both modern GT and open-wheel simulations. Its body is crafted out of single piece of CNC-machined aluminum and houses a 5mm carbon fiber front wheelplate. The chassis is fitted with comfortable Thermoplastic Polyurethane grips.
The wheelplate houses an integrated 4‑inch IPS color display with 800×480 pixel resolution with a 60 hz refresh rate that is fully compatible with SimHub. Furthermore, the wheel features 10 RGB button modules, 8 RGB function light zones, 2x 7-way funky switch, 4 rotary knobs, and 4 rotary switches. The colors of the button and status lights can be configured completely independently.
Thanks to Conspit Link 2.0, control commands can be flexibly reassigned: P‑ENC allows the thumb encoders to be dynamically reassigned depending on the position of the lower rotary switch. The rotary macro function also offers the option of switching several parameters simultaneously with a single movement. This allows complex vehicle systems to be controlled efficiently and intuitively without the need for additional encoders.
The rear of the wheel houses two push buttons, a set of double Hall sensor-controlled clutch paddles and silent Hall sensor magnetic shift paddles. All paddle plates are made out of carbon fiber. The wheel can be connected to a any wheelbase that supports a standard 7mm PCD adapter.
The electronics are connected to a PC via a standard USB cable. Needless to say, the wheel can also be connected to a Conspit wheelbase via the quick-release making a direct wheel/wheelbase connection.
The Conspit Max 01 Sim Racing wheel is available via various Sim Racing shops. Check your local dealer for availability and pricing.
