Via its Instagram account, the relatively unknown Chinese Conspit Racing company has revealed two new upcoming Direct Drive wheelbases named ARES and ARES Platinum.
While no detailed info is shared, we know that the Conspit Racing ARES wheelbases are powered by a high-precision Skew-Pole Direct Drive motor that will be available in both 10Nm and 18Nm (Platinum) versions.
A skew pole motor is an electric motor where the poles are intentionally offset or angled. This design feature significantly improves the motor’s performance in several ways, such as Reduce Cogging, and a smoother and quieter operation. Furthermore, Skew pole motors often deliver higher torque at lower speeds.
The shared images also show us the use of a Conspit custom Quick-Release system with contacts for power and data transmission.
