CXC Simulations – Motion Pro II with Oculus VR and Speed Fans

2016 has already been labeled the year of Virtual Reality. With the successful release of the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive behind us, the gaming and hardware world is starting to become VR-compliant.

With more and more software titles out there that feature VR support, also the Sim Racing Hardware manufacturers are keen to implement the new technology. One of the companies that is already experimenting with VR devices is CXC Simulations.

They equipped their CXC Motion Pro II motion Simulator with an Oculus Rift VR headset and speed sensitive blowers for that extra immersion while driving open wheelers. Interestingly, the wind blowers are placed at head level. This would not have been possible on a normal screen system as they would obstruct the view.
