Canada-based D-BOX Technologies have announced that they have signed a licensing agreement to develop and commercialize a Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG branded multipurpose motion platform, based on the recently revealed haptic platform as used for the RSEAT HLF4 system.
The HLF4 is an innovative plug-and-play, low-profile platform that will be compatible with almost all chassis from third-party sim racing equipment manufacturers, and can also be used in conjunction with chairs, sofas, fitness devices, and more in-home and commercial entertainment.
Aimed at sim racers of all genres and skill levels, this haptic product greatly enhances the racing experience, giving drivers an improved sense of realism transmitted through feedback to the chassis.
Featuring 4 of D-BOX’s high-fidelity G5 actuators, this innovative, multipurpose platform produces immersive, full-body sim racing feedback with lifelike sensations in combination with a direct drive wheel and professional pedals with load cells or hydraulics.
