DAKAR 18 The Game – Previews So Far

Back in January, Bigmoon Entertainment, the studio behind FlatOut 4 and WRC 5 announced that they were developing the official game of the annual biggest cross-country rally raid in the world. The Dakar Rally.

The Dakar 18 game will feature all the drivers, riders, and teams from the 2018 rally Raid. You will be able to explore and race the open worlds of Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina in both single player and online multiplayer game modes.

DAKAR 18 is aiming to be one of the biggest open worlds ever made in a racing game, coming to PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC platforms in 2018. Based on the world-famous annual rally raid organized by Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) in South America, DAKAR 18 is a realistic simulation of the biggest cross-country rally in the world and features a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, quads and SxS. Players will compete in fierce online multiplayer battles as well as playing offline to harness and grow racing skills.

Since its announcement, Bigmoon Entertainment has only teased us with a few short in-game videos, and a handful of screenshots showing us the accurately recreated visuals of the 9000 km Dakar 18 route. While initially, Dakar 18 looked to be a modest dirt arcade racer, the shared media shows us that this rally raid game might just bring us a lot more than we bargained for. Dakar 2018 The Official Game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC/Steam. No exact release date has been set, but the game is expected to be available this year.
