Dem Racing Simulators – 3DOF Motion Platform

The ultimate dream of many sim racing enthusiasts out there is to one day own a full motion sim racing rig. While there are many solutions on the market, utilizing a multitude of technologies, most of the available systems cannot be used with existing non-motion static racing rigs. That said, there are a few systems out there which are able to easily convert your existing racing chassis to a three Degrees Of Freedom unit.

A few days ago, the Swiss DEM Racing Simulators company introduced its new 3DOF Motion Platform. This practical Plug’n Play Motion Simulation system will let you mount your existing sim chassis straight on its platform, turning it into a full-motion simulator featuring Pitch, Roll, and Yaw movement. The platform measures 120 x 80 x 40 cm and can handle up to 250kg of payload.
