Driveclub E3 2014 All Access Interview

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and developer Evolution Studios announced that the long awaited, and long delayed DRIVECLUB game for the PlayStation 4 will be released in October 2014. The US will be first on October 7th. A day later mainland Europe will follow, with the UK on the 10th.

Visitors of the E3 will be able to see the title in action at the Evolution Studios booth. Scott Rodi gives us a quick demo and description of Driveclub during the All Access session at the E3 2014 trade show in Los Angeles. E3 takes place June 10-12, 2014, at the Los Angeles Convention Center where tens of thousands of professionals and gamers will gather to experience new and coming entertainment products.

Driveclub is a social racing game meant to be played in a team or club.  It’s about friendships and rivalries and team-based racing, together in the world’s best supercars on the world’s most breath-taking roads – all rendered in cutting edge next generation graphics. DRIVECLUB was officially announced during the PlayStation 4 press conference on 20 February 2013, and was planned to become a launch title for the PlayStation 4 console late 2013. In October of the same year, Sony announced that Driveclub would be delayed until early 2014. The official press release stated ” don’t want to release a game before it’s ready”. The official press release stated ” don’t want to release a game before it’s ready”.

With this Driveclub release date announcement, many console racers out there will be delighted that there is finally a racing title ready for the PlayStation 4.
