Apple Valley Speedway & Eagle Creek Speedway for rFactor 2 Released
Image Space Incorporated keeps pumping out 3PA tracks today. After releasing the Northside International Raceway and the updated Palm Springs tracks, another two ovals have been made available for rFactor 2.
Eagle Creek Speedway
Image Space Incorporated has released the Eagle Creek Speedway for rFactor 2. This addon track is a third-party creation by Mike Schreiner.
Eagle Creek Speedway or Kentucky Speedway in the real world is a 72ft-wide, 1.5-mile (2.4 km) tri-oval speedway located in Sparta, Kentucky. The track has hosted ARCA, NASCAR and Indy Racing League racing annually since it opened in 2000.
At the moment, the 198Mb rFactor 2 track can be downloaded at the official rFactor 2 website, and later on at the Steam Workshop. The download contains a single oval layout.
Included Layout:
- Oval – 1.5 mile oval
With a racing surface that lends itself to multi-groove racing, this track does tend to favor those who can deal with traffic. Skill will factor more prominently in the race outcome than clean air or track position.
Apple Valley Speedway
Apple Valley Speedway for rFactor 2 is a third-party affiliate track by James “cyruscloud” Mabe (JM Virtual Tracks).
Fontana Auto Club Speedway, as it is called in the real world, is a two-mile low-banked D-shaped oval superspeedway situated in Fontana, California. The venue has hosted NASCAR races since 1997. The facility has hosted stock car and IndyCar Series events for three decades. The rFactor 2 version of the track comes with three configurations. The main 2-mile oval, a 2.8-mile road course, and a smaller 1.45 mile infield track.
At the moment, the 183Mb rFactor 2 track can be downloaded at the official rFactor 2 website, and later on at the Steam Workshop.

Included Layouts:
Oval – 2-mile oval
This high-speed oval is suitable for open wheel and stock cars. Wide open to the point where 5-6 cars wide may be possible, it is hugely important to learn how to draft and slingshot.
Road course – 2.8 mile Roadcourse
Suitable for sports cars and mixed-class GT racing, this ‘roval’ can be especially challenging. The first choice most teams have to make is downforce levels, deciding whether to run faster in the infield or out on the super-fast oval section.
Interior – 1.45 mile Roadcourse
Tight and surprisingly fast in places, this infield road course has very much a club circuit feel.
